I had a baby, and got lost in all the wonderfulness that is her for a couple months. I want to blog-I want to write down moments of my kids that crack me up or make me want to scream. So here I try again.
This morning my darling Ella calls for me from her crib--the same crib that Lucy will soon be in so Pray to the Lord that Ella will actually go to sleep in the room she shares with Lilly very soon. Otherwise my very very short hair is going to be gone from all the pulling. Anyway, I go in and get her and I make a habit of holding her and snuggling her to the changing table. She has been potty trained for awhile now but not for naps and bedtime. We are having a particularly cuddly moment and then she pulls her head back and looks at me with those sweet just woke up eyes, arms still wrapped around my neck and sais "poopy mommy". Thanks for the moment Ella.
Lucy---is wonderful. She is exactly what I needed at this point in my life. She brought me back to the reality of what I want to be doing right now-and thats concentrating on my kids.
When I am done having babies I will go back to school, today I am a mom who doesn't want to say hold on while my baby cries for me b/c I am in the middle of a homework question.
Lucy is my Lucy. I feel it in my bones. We are meant for each other and she will teach me so much about me.
I will get to Lilly when I can think of one of crazy antics-which is every day..but at this moment I can't really think-I have other things on my mind.
